Hydration is a necessity of life. We all should be drinking 8-10 glasses of water per day, right? Now add in some exercise, add in some heat.. say like hot yoga... now you need even more water. Dehydration can be dangerous.

There are 26 postures in bikram yoga and we will work through them 1 month at a time. We picked this pose as our first pose to be featured because it is your rest pose. When starting out with hot yoga it may take a while for your body to become accustomed to the heat. A recommendation is if you feel dizzy or nauseated to go into child's pose and resume class when you feel better. In our first class it was recommendation to stay in the room if possible and try child's pose.
